Charisse Dean is a globally recognized senior executive whose capabilities shine in service to others both professionally and personally — service that extends beyond the C-suite and soccer field.

Currently the SVP, Enterprise Director – Delivery Management and Business Process Re-engineering at Aon. Charisse directs and implements companywide transformation through the functions of business architecture, solution/service delivery, strategic planning, governance, change and risk management. Her team is responsible for end-to-end planning, delivery and operational support of new and existing enterprise solutions and processes. One of her most recent achievements is delivering Aon Affinity’s new 5-year operating and technology strategy in under 90 days. Charisse was instrumental in the strategic launch of AT&T’s start-up flanker brand Aio, which successfully led to the $1.2 B acquisition of Cricket Wireless.

Charisse attains satisfaction in seeing others thrive – especially career-driven women of color. She feels that women of color are often the most undervalued and overlooked warriors in the corporate American battlefield. Charisse spends her time coaching women on how to be fearless, authentic, to strategically leverage their skill set and to stay vigilant for opportunities to expand their network, knowledge and salary. Charisse was appointed as the National Vice President of Professional Development for African Americans during her tenure at AT&T. Her goal: Build professional development opportunities for employees of color and continue to grow their pathways towards fully breaking the company’s glass ceiling. She was recently appointed as Aon Philadelphia’s President of the Black Professional Network (BPN).

Her strive to see people excel is not just limited to the corporate boardroom. Balancing life as a wife, mother of three, and a mentor, she is committed to family and community with her involvement in their school PTOs, athletic and charitable organizations.

Charisse is a graduate of University of Virginia, Master of Science in Information Technology Management and George Mason University, Bachelors of Science in Decision Sciences and Management of Information System. She is a member of Gartner’s Senior Advisory Council, Aon’s Philadelphia Black Professional Network (BPN) chapter president, Mocha Mom’s Philadelphia President and a member of the Women in Technology Network (WIT).

The focus of her life and work can be found in this phrase: “I will live my life in fearless pursuit of love, service, and gratitude where mediocrity has no place”. These words are the driving force behind her mission to be a change catalyst in the lives of those within her professional and personal reach.
