Amita Amte works as a Software Engineer in Test at MathWorks where she is responsible for designing and developing tools, automated test suites that ensure the high quality & performance of MATLAB Online (MATLAB on the cloud). She is passionate about web technologies, always eager to learn and explore new avenues to solve complex software problems while making a meaningful impact on society. Apart from ensuring a bug free code, Amita loves to dance and is a trained Indian classical dancer. Amita graduated from University of California, Irvine with a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering and has done her Bachelor’s in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from University Of Pune, India. She is excited to present a hands-on workshop on Pocket AI and IOT at WITS Northeast and network with fellow Women in Tech!
