Participants will:

  • Practice the fundamentals of Structured Query Language (SQL).
  • Use database schema to design appropriate queries using SQL.

Topics Covered:

  • Create a local database using data sets you bring into the classroom.
  • Upload and export data using a local database.
  • Collect data using standard SQL commands (Create, Update, Insert, Delete, etc.).
  • Filter data using advanced SQL commands (Where, Group By, Order By, Limit).
  • Create visualizations of data.

The workshop will end with sharing resources to continue learning data analysis and visualization.
